Contests

Poultry & Rabbit Exhibit:
Nothing is more visited by our younger fair patrons than the Rabbit and Poultry Exhibit. Do you have an American Fuzzy Lop or a Silkie Hen? Enter them into the fair! All entries will be taken Saturday, March 5, from 9:00 – 11:00 am. A list of the rules and times are displayed on the web page.

Swine Show:
You know it’s fair time when the animals hit the barn and we start off opening night with the 4-H and FFA Bradford-Union Swine Show. We have some of the best in the state, so make plans to come!

Youth Goat Show & Little Kids Exhibition:
The Goat Show will actually occur before the opening day, but it is still part of the fair! The Livestock Arena will be open our gates Saturday, March 5 so patrons can attend our Little Kids and Goat Exhibit. Enter the Livestock Arena via the side gate at the North End of the Barn.

4H & FFA Steer Awards & Auction:
You don’t want to miss one of the best Steer Shows you will ever see at a Florida fair. These ladies and gentlemen really know what they are doing and the competition is always intense and fun to watch! Such showmanship! Be sure to attend the sale on Saturday and support our local 4-H and FFA Chapters by bidding on a steer or heifer. Buy a whole one or split the cost with a neighbor. Hint: Get there early!

4H & FFA Steer & Breed Showmanship Contest:
The Showmanship Contest showcases the knowledge and skills of our Bradford and Union County 4H and FFA members. How these animals are shown are just as important as the quality of the animal. Come see who wins this year!

4-H Exhibit:
4-H grows confident, capable, and caring kids with the life skills to thrive in today’s world and succeed in their boldest dreams for tomorrow.
